The role- Infrastructure Lead

Do you want to own the infrastructure behind a platform that powers the websites of ~80 of the most recognised brands on the Nordic stock exchanges?

As an Infrastructure Lead at Comprend, you'll be responsible for keeping our WaaS (Website as a Service) platform reliable, secure, and performant. You'll work closely with a tight team of ~10 and contribute to both the infrastructure and the backend development that powers the platform.

You'll be part of making technical decisions – and seeing them through. No long approval chains, no unnecessary overhead. You build, decide, and ship.

What you'll do

• Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including containerised workloads running on Docker and Kubernetes

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

• Configure and maintain Cloudflare for performance, security, and DDoS mitigation

• Monitor and optimise infrastructure costs

• Administer Linux servers and supporting services

• Contribute to backend development within the WaaS platform, preferably in Node.js

• Document and share knowledge to strengthen the team

Who you are

You're an experienced engineer who thinks beyond the code. You understand that infrastructure decisions are business decisions, and you naturally see how a platform serving 80 clients today can scale to serve 200.

You have:

• Solid experience deploying and managing infrastructure on Microsoft Azure in production environments

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably in Azure DevOps

• A strong understanding of web infrastructure – HTTP, caching, CDN, and security

• Experience with Cloudflare or similar platforms

• Experience in backend development, preferably Node.js

• Experience working with AI solutions, on-premises or via cloud services

• Fluent English

Experience from an agency or consultancy environment is a plus.
